End Of Quarter

And time for a check in. What was I hoping to accomplish by the end of the year? And are there deletions, corrections, or additions to be made to the list? Well, let’s have a look see….Back on the 5th of January, I wrote:

• Finish Grandbebe Bean’s quilt, for one. Pending. Still.

• Knit sweaters (in particular Feb Lady Sweater and EZ’s Green Sweater). Check, and 2 others on the needles. That’s right. Another FLS, and Peasy!

• Knit more socks (2 3 4 pair). 2 adult and a couple for the bebes, but I am only counting the two adult pairs.

Go to Philly (week penciled in). Done! Spectacularly!!

• Go to Yellowstone (reservations made).

Take a photography class (scheduled). Done! Still practicing.

• Learn to dye? (maybe) Actually. Yeah.

• Commute by bike (starting in May) at least 600 miles. One month out from starting!

• Hike 40 miles.

Snowshoe. Uh. Didn’t happen this year.

• Brush off the soap making skilz.

• Learn some different spinning skilz. Navajo! New wheel! Taking the workshop at the Wool Market!

• Improve photoshop skilz.

• Paint upstairs rooms.

• Rail fence section in the yard.

• Sew some.

• Stay honest. Be open. Remember the lessons that brought me here. Now what were they again?  Kidding!

So I am feeling pretty good about all this.

Also, I am really glad I didn’t have anything in there about stashy commitments. You know, because I have been finding really good deals is all.

  1. Good job, Becky! If I had made a list (which, of course, I did not) I am sure my progress would pale next to this. Your sticktoitiveness amazes me!

  2. Lovin' that eighth one more than you will ever know! And snowshoeing isn't necessarily off the map yet. You can always go at the end of the year...

Very impressive list, and so cool that you've already checked off a few!
