I thought I'd never get done. So I made the squares bigger. Then I taught Rhonda how to crochet and she helped me make a few. Then I got done making the squares and sewed them all together and crocheted around the afghan a pretty little border and then I gave it to my brother and told him to go buy a chrochet hook and tuck all those little strings under where they wouldn't show. (Can you believe it?! I made an afghan and never tucked under one end of the yarn when I changed colors! I just thought I was suppose to wait and do that when I was finished.) Ernie used the afghan but never bought a crochet hook and never tucked under the yarn. And I never made another granny square afghan that I can remember. Yah, the afghan looked pretty funny on his couch with all those threads sticking out all over! How embarrassing! I wonder how many people he told I made the afghan. I can't believe I never finished it! But I had more important things to do...like ride around in cars with boys!Tishhttp://BigWellGirlnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4763985013725565641.post-29557858923730554412010-07-07T22:26:12.981-06:002010-07-07T22:26:12.981-06:00Maybe I should figure out how to knit socks. It seems like you have more on its way that feels comfortable for you :-(

But I must admit that I, in spite of loving finishing things, I even more love to start new ones, and if I have less then five projects on the needle at the same time I really got nervous and depressed:-)

Take good care of yourself!LenaLhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09088334451644978575noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4763985013725565641.post-64432585379755487612010-07-07T07:12:51.064-06:002010-07-07T07:12:51.064-06:00I have found that I can have several quilts in pro...I have found that I can have several quilts in progress, but not knitting. That is one project at a time and it is finished (or maybe sometimes frogged) before proceeding. I am a process knitter not a project knitter.Paula, the quilterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17662592713610165406noreply@blogger.com
