However, I do love those slippers and have been stalking them. Naturally, I thought she was just sucking up to me with a grand compliment.

I don't know why it's so hard for us to see ourselves as others see us. But, you look great. And, I would have guessed 50, not 60.

PS: Now that I've complimented you can I have them booties? About the slippers, I have done some research, and am not without hope. Or people with longer feet! I am not distressed. It's my favorite pattern of all time. I've made tons of them for myself and other people. Well, maybe not tons, but quite a few. I showed them recently on my blog while I was making hubby a new pair. In a few days I hope to post about them again and go through the whole process. I took all the photos while I was making his back in December and haven't gotten around to posting them yet.

Sorry your French Presses don't fit, they look really cute!Lynnehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05875008154587045790noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4763985013725565641.post-86269853657494760152010-01-11T10:06:24.226-07:002010-01-11T10:06:24.226-07:00Seems as if everyone is knitting the french Press ...Seems as if everyone is knitting the french Press Slippers. I filed for Social Security last year, so now I only work 20 hrs/week, and earn just about the max amount one can ($14,160) without being penalized by SS -- sweet. Of course, it still bugs me that Gordon is closer to your age -- he's only 56 and sometimes he annoyingly pretends that he is not familiar with pop culture from my teenage years because...well, he was a mere child.

Love those slippers -- it's so funny that you're looking for someone with bigger feet. It's like a Cinderella story except with a big wool shoe instead of a little glass one.Marthahttp://www.qisforquilter.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4763985013725565641.post-33650691786365611592010-01-11T08:49:00.043-07:002010-01-11T08:49:00.043-07:00So...Wisest Sister and Middle Daughter "Wear ...So...Wisest Sister and Middle Daughter "Wear them some boats??"
