What really clinched the deal was the ‘dealer dog’. Here she is telling Best Dog Ever of the many positive aspects of the Outback.

And here the two of them were finalizing some of the intricacies of the deal. I was not privy to all of what went on there.

Good deal, nice car, seat warmers and outside air temperature. It was exhausting, though, and hopefully this task is done for several more years!

Her name is Scooby Two, replacing her predecessor, Scooby Roo.

I read on Vicki's blog that you are a Wisconsinite from a cheese history family! My two sisters left Wisconsin for Colorado 30 years ago. They don't really miss cheese curds, but they miss apples. I stayed in Wisconsin and I love warm cheese curds from small cheese factories--harder to find, sad to say, and fresh apples from the small orchards. Even the mountains in Colorado don't make up for these pleasures in my book!
Hi, Gail- You may have misread the comments. I have no Wisconsin history, just a love of cheese curds with no source! I do love my Colorado mountains very much, though. (I checked out your blog and you have some gorgeous knitting.) Thanks for checking in!
Mazel Tov on the new ride! I can relate; our Outback has 93,000 and it acts like a spring chicken (the Boss changes the oil religiously every 3,000 and the filters regularly, makes ALL the difference! (Another good car is our Toyota wagon, a 1993 with 265,000 miles on it, also in prime condition, although it's in need of a dermatologist....)
I love the pictures of the two dogs negotiating! Wonderful. Car buying is so exhausting, but it looks like you triumphed in the end!
