Then on Sunday...

Grandbebe Girl came over to play. The bebe mama and daddy were gone most of the day, and we had a famous time.

We went to a near-by park, and had a very good time. Then buzzed over to a lys that is closing out. Wonderful Guy stayed with Grandbebe Girl in the car. One of the things she likes to do at Grandmama's is play with the tail end balls of yarn. I didn't think a place with walls of items with which she believes she has free rein was such a good idea. I wasn't there long anyway! Since she dozed on the way to the yarn shop, a nap was mostly out.

So we played with tupperware kitchen stuff, and old FisherPrice toys, and we colored, and we walked around the block.

We played with yarn.

And we loved on Best Dog Ever, who showed why she is the Best Dog Ever.
Yep. I had pretty much the best Sunday ever.
She is a marvel for me, proof that I didn't do everything wrong in raising my girls. I don't believe I could have, and have her momma be such a good momma, and for her to be such a happy, well-loved girl.
It was a week-end of many redemptions.

Her cutie-wootie face looks alot like her mother's at that age. The features, yes, but also the scuffs and bruises! Did she fall off a water bed?

I think that your daughter had a very good role model for a mother. I don't need to elaborate, only to say that IF we had instructions on how to choose husbands and IF we had an instruction book for children, then we could apologize for things that we could have done better. Love, WS

Sounds like you had a great but busy weekend.

I know exactly how you feel about doing something out of your comfort zone. I am that way too! But once I've done it I have such a feeling of accomplishment. Don't you? Pushing yourself to do it is the biggest thing. I have one of those coming up in a few days. I have to drive to Newark airport all by myself to pick up our newest family member. Not looking forward to driving there, but I'll manage to get it done. :)

Hopefully the yarn shop closing out is not My Sister Knits!!!!!!!!!

Oh she is precious! And I love how she plays with yarn. Grandchildren are such a blessing aren't they?

Cute Grandbebe. When are you going to start teaching her to knit? Looks like she's already a dab hand with yarn.

P.S. I'm passing something back to you as being oh so very deserving.
