Wisest Sister had collected knitting and crochet apparati from Momma and her sisters, Wisest Sister's MIL, and Deeply Missed Sister. She took the recent visit of Dearest Sister to divest herself of some duplicates.
And Dearest Sister shared with me. The night before Thanksgiving we sat and sorted and divided amongst ourselves.
Behold!
Needles from size one to 17! And just about everything in between.
Single points and DPNs. They're all there.
(I left the circs for Dearest Sister. I am sort of a KnitPick's elitest...)
As for crochet hooks, omylord. Teetinyitsybitsyones to more regular sizes that I used to think were smallish. I was wrong.
As God is my witness, I will never have to buy knitting needles again!
....unless they are Knitpicks nickel plated circs.
....or maybe in some other instance that I may have overlooked and in which case I have way overstated my position and perhaps I had better retract my previous statement because on occasion Wonderful Guy does read this and it is exactly the sort of thing he might try to hold me to....

Welcome...
...to my humble effort. Thanks for taking the time to stop by, and I hope you find something mildly interesting, slightly amusing, barely creative, or at the very least, not too terribly trite.

Who knows, maybe someday you will have people at your house who really need to knit due to some national emergency and you have to supply needles all around! You might even be short on needles...
I have a collection from my mom that looks very much like yours! So many tiny crochet hooks! And needles made out of just what kind of plastic is that? Mom's are all a little warped out of shape but that's probably because they are very long straights. I'll have to blog on them sometime.
Nice to know the distribution continues. That was the plan. Love, WS
Your sisters are the best!! Need another??

Lucky !!! I've inherited lots of knitting stuff from my mom and MIL. I like having all these extras, to give away when the need arises.
What a haul! That's amazing. :D
Uuuufff...I have needle envy...
I was recently given a friends aunts knitting and crochet thing and it was better than getting gold. Your things look great!
