Winner!

I was asked to substitute this week again for a group of neighborhood women who play Bunko once a month. If you don't know what Bunko is, it is explained pretty well here.

I have substituted quite alot for someone or another in this group these last 10 months. And I am beginning to know some of these women pretty well. I am actually beginning to remember their names! No. Really. I knew the names of the ones that are my real close-by neighbors, but put me in a room where I don't know 10 of the 12, and then don't see them again for a month? Well, I will remember what you like to do (especially if you garden!), and what you like (especially if what you like is my handknit scarf!), or what you serve for treats (especially if it is really yummy, and not the stuff from Whole Foods!).

But your name? What's in a name? Does not a rose by any other name smell as sweet?

I digress.

What I mean to get to is last night I won...I was The. Big. Winner.

One only wins money for one category, by their rules, though, so I didn't walk out with it all.

Still felt really good, since the last couple times all I did was contribute to the pot!
