none of these are tall bearded. The above pictured is about 15" in height.
This one only about 6" high.
I think for the first time since moving here 7 springs ago.
Little Yellow is about 8" high.
Spring took a long time in getting here but it seems to all be working out ok.
This guy blooms about 15" tall.
But then.
These are about the same, 15" tall.

Chilly nights are the forecast for the week once again.
Mother's Day purchases, including tomatoes, will wait for planting.

Who is this Prudence and why are you letting her push you around?!?
I don't even have buds yet...yours are beautiful! Hope you had a great Mother's Day.
They're gorgeous! The colours are just beautiful :D
Lovely flowers! I haven't got a garden, but I have certainly been enjoying all the lovely blossoms springing up around town.
Isn't spring in the Rockies fun? I see we have possible snow on the way again Wednesday ;)
I am so jealous of your beautiful iris. I try to console myself with excuses -- our yard is too shady and the ground is too soggy. My favorite: She has the iris gene from her mother.
Hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day.
Thanks for the flower show--they're lovely!
Becky, I thought I left a message early this morning but I don't see it. THe word veri was giving me fits.
I am trying again ...
Hold off on those tomatoes for a bit! We had a freeze warning here last night but it only got down to 35 degrees. Brrrr! I can't wait to get my tomatoes started in pots on the deck. Can't plant them in-ground because the squirrels pick them while still green, take a bite and throw them on the ground. Bad squirrels!!
"Your" iris have HUGE foliage/flags this year but I don't see any buds coming ...
After a few lovely spring days, it is cold, rainy and windy. The peonies that are blooming are now saggy! and the blooming trees have most of the blooms on the ground. I suppost that if the sun would shine, it would look better! Your blooms are so pretty!
That second purple one... oooooooh! Such color!
None of mine have blooms yet. And more snow on the way...
