(But, I thought you said you didn't have a photo of what you did!)
Well, I didn't. The first time. But the universe has presented me with another opportunity.
I cannot believe that I did this. I frogged back, but must have miscounted rows, and knitted all of the same rows all over again. I arrived back at the very same placed last night, just as the Jayhawks wrapped up their win over the Tarheels. (Rock Chalk!) I cannot believe this!
I was so proud of the frogging, and not dropping any stitches, and not twisting any stitches. I will look at that part as a learning experience. One thing I did was to feed my stitches onto a sz1 needle instead of the sz8, then knit off the sz1 back onto the sz8. Much easier tension wise! But I really don't want to do that knitting all over again.
Wonderful Guy says maybe it's just the way the shawl is suppose to be...
I went on Ravelry last night and checked to see if anyone had this yarn stashed. I will check at Woolen Treasures on Tuesday. Gah! $10 for 90 stitches? Whatever....I was really hoping to have this puppy blocked by end of the weekend.
Do I dare share this experience with the KAL group on Ravelry? It's pretty humiliating to have redone exactly back to where I was.
Other than that, I am really liking the way it looks.

*ahem*
This is what you get for being so wrapped up in the Jayhawks.
We Duke fans, totally undistracted, don't accidentally re-knit our mistakes.
My knitting is currently kicking my arse, and my hands hurt, so I sympathize. I'm living through other people's mistakes so that I can resist the temptation to throw everything into a garbage bag and leave it on the curb. Sigh. Teenage drama, I know.
