That's a completely finished object...
The Silk Lace Scarf (from the Stitch 'N Bitch Page-A-Day Calendar 2007) in Silk Prism from Lambspun, for my MIL for her birthday next month. She's irritated by wool, so I think...hope...she will enjoy this.
I blocked it, which softened it up very nicely.
I like the Harry Potter/Hogwart-y colors of it.
On the Needles of Iron, I am continuing to knit on the entrelac shawl, and consider it about two thirds done, by the amount of yarn used. Progress is being made on the Moderne Log Cabin Blanket (Mason-Dixon Knitting), but let me tell you! It is heck of alot of garter stitch! Which means I got alot done watching the ladies in all their finery at the Golden Globes. And all the dashing menfolk, too.
Mmmm-mmmmm....anyway...I wouldn't have had a thing to wear! Just as well I had knitting to do!
PS We didn't get to a movie yesterday. We opted for a walk around, a cup 'o joe, and caught up with Only Step Son. Breathing some outdoors air, seeing some clouds...just the thing to get the head out of the files!

Lovely scarf! I am sure she will be glad to have it for the rest of the cold season!
What a lovely scarf! I am glad you had a walk to clear your head...better than a dark movie theatre, right? Love, WS
Great colors. It looks so cozy too!

A vey nice scarf. Hope she appreciates the work that has gone into it. Your day sounded perfect to me, movie or not.
