I wonder

..why these things are sitting here, not being used...

Because Grandbebe Two's quilt?

She is so done!

My head spins at the very idea!

Gratuitous shot of roses...
Technical (but not so much really) shot of embroidery (Dearest Sister's) and quilting (yours truly).
Best lobelia I have had in years. Also...the quilt...

I believe I will go to the farmer's market now...

It is lovely! I can't wait to see photos of it from a dSLR camera!

Also, the lobelia is gorgeous! (and the roses, but I love, love, love lobelia!)

Beautiful work. I like the embroidery too. My mom used to make quilts like this. Thanks for bringing a tear to my eyes, a sniff to my nose, and a fond memory to my heart.

You and Dearest Sister did an amazing job, it is just beautiful! Now I want to see Opal wrapped up in it.

I came over from your sis' blog to see...after chuckling over her label mishap. And, I was not disappointed! This is beautiful, and I can see why her initial label just won't work. This project just speaks so much of love. That baby will know from the get-go that she is welcomed and loved. And, decades from now, she will have this quilt and STILL know that. Wonderful and warm in so many ways. C.
