Which has hung around for quite a while…
There are some bright spots inside.
My holiday cactus is still blooming, having started around Thanksgiving.
I have purchased the obligatory poinsettia...which I mostly love dressed in red. (last year’s $5 poinsettia gave up the ghost in July!)
And the tree.
notice the kitty fur?
notice how the tree skirt has been moved aside to allow for easy access?
And apparently, Best Dog Ever likes the comfy place, too.
Also, the squooshy Nativity has been knocked askance once again.

I like the tree skirt bed and tree stand water bowl. My cat, Jack, is obsessed with chewing on ribbon -- especially the curly type -- I think it's the starch he likes. The bows always look pretty gross by Christmas morning.
I love your picture of the snow and all of the street lights! Looks like a Christmas card.
60 cards, eh?I like getting them, too, and when you don't send them out, you really don't get a lot. In lean times, we have decided to buy lots of cool gifts for the kids and skip the cards. Perhaps when our pocketbooks are fatter . . .
Looking at your photos fills me with so much Christmas spirit! Thanks so much!
What? That's not a water bowl? Huh. Silly humans.
Something about a piece of fabric on the floor... Our kitties will curl up on a sock, if one is left laying around!
Love that snow photo--it really looks like Christmas there! My cats love the tree skirt too! V.
There's just something about tree skirts that attract cats, I think. Within a week of putting ours up it's a matted mess of cat fur. Beautiful photos, and happy holidays to you too! =D
