Dearest Sister scored herself a Featherweight off Craigslist! She gets all the good stuff.
She always has!
Way back when? She got the pretty shoes because her feet were easy to fit. We had to drive like FOREVER, or to Wichita, to find shoes to fit my skinny noodle feet, and if we had to do that, you can bet Mom made sure they (the shoes, certainly not US!) wound up being ‘sensible’.
What else you ask? Well, I will tell you. Clothes! Being a skinny little runt (speaking of me), nothing ever fit me as well as it fit her, and she always looked better in what ever she had, too. Way better. Just ask Glenn M., or Jim L. Whom we shared as well.... (DSis knows who...and what...I'm talkin' about...)
And then. Well then there was…loads of other things! Just loads. Lots of loads!
But really? She’s always shared. Except the shoes. Even if the clothes just hung on me. And it ended up that the fellows were sort of…well, “not winners” anyway.
We’ve shared most everything.
Our best and deepest secrets, as only sisters can.
Our kids. Why, heck, even Lovely Step-daughter takes her birthday and holiday dinners at DSis’s place. (Step-Daughter believes that DSis cooks from scratch!)
We even share our blogging now.
What would I do with another Singer anyway?

You and DSis are too cute. :) I really enjoyed this one even though I've no idea what a Featherweight is and why it prompted the lovely writing.
How lucky you both are to have each other as sisters!
Well, it remains to be seen what I will do with another Singer, you know! I guess I can always say that I needed a small one for the camper!
You shouldn't be jealous, you know. My goal has always been just to catch up to you!
It's great having a sister...or two...or three -- even when it seems like they get all the good stuff.
