W/Red Buttons
Here is how the rest turned out.Grey/Blue
Chinese Tweedy
Ta-Dah! So festive!
And here are some other recent efforts...
A secret gift for someone who will remain nameless...out of Classic Elite Classic Silk (cotton, silk, nylon).
It's from the Multi-Directional Scarf pattern by Karen Baumer (free on Ravelry). I really liked knitting this one.
A test ‘Pretty Thing’ cowl (Stephanie Pearl-McPhee). A test article, yes, but wearable. I ran short of the original (yet a leftover) skein, but made do with another leftover bit. So Berroco Alpaca Light, and Mountain Colors around the edge. I was worried about the inherent big-noggins in ma famille, and made this one with an extra repeat. The next one, the for-real one, I probably won't, I think.
This yarn doesn't really show the pattern, which is lacey, but not terribly hard, even though I made most of the decreases backwards. Oh well. Still decreases! And that is what my test articles are for.
As for casting on things, I have a few on the needles of Iron. Check out my Ravelry Progress Bars in lieu of photos for now. A poor substitute, perhaps, but I am going to play the 'I have a cold' card.

So many FOs--I'm dizzy looking at them! All are very nice!
The buttons really do look nice. Sorry you are under the weather. You still accomplish a remarkable amount!
Those little sweaters are just adorable -- you must post photos of the grandbebes modeling them. The button choices, I think, were just perfect.
You have been busy! That scarf is wonderful -- was it a fairly easy pattern? I am thinking maybe I could attempt it.
Sorry to hear about your cold -- I hate feeling sick when I've got projects to finish and a holiday deadline. Hope you are feeling much better soon.
Darling little sweaters! I love the one with the reddy stripes! And that scarf looks wonderful. The pattern seems like it's really conducive to team colors. I'm seeing that easily added to my holiday knitting! =D
I did like the red buttons best, even if I didn't vote! All the BSJs are gorgeous.
Really sweet stuff! That scarf is intriguing...
Sorry you are feeling puny. Have some peaches and toast, then get up and get around!
Or not...
They are lovely Becky! Lucky little grandbebes!
Is that scarf for a Bronco fan? That color combo looks familiar ...
Thanks, all, for your comments. Martha- The scarf was not a difficult knit for me, but does use short rows. Not difficult for me to understand, but some have trouble with the concept.
Luna and Lynne - That's why I chose that pattern! I thought it knit up nicely in Bronco colors!
Jan and Gaynell - Why didn't I think of peaches!!
