I might say X-cellent form.
Not much given to X-cess, in my mind, my best decorations are the handmade and gifted ones.
The story of my little tree is here.
I made these little quilted ornaments years ago from a book that was lost in a flooded basement. They are only about 3-4 inchese square.
finger for scale (not for manicure job!)
Then at an estate sale last month, I saw a copy of the same book. I could have waited. I still haven’t made any additional ornaments.
X-traordinary!
My mother made this nativity from a preprinted panel probably purchased on sale. The hay in the manger? Cotton yarn leftovers from her dishcloth knitting! X-pedient!!
PS All photo's biggify when clicked! The details on the bitty tree are pretty awesome.

X-ceedingly cute little tree
X-tremely unique little Nativity scene. I love it! Such a clever mom!
You did great on "X"!
I bought a couple of panels of Nativity Scenes during a recent double discount day..and I am so pleased to see that they are the same as yours. It looks like the manger on mine is more rectangular, but all the characters look the same. I guess there is only so much you could change for this occasion, right?
I love that tree! But my fovorite memory of your christmas decor is how 'baby Jesus' was always kidnapped at night, but easily found by following the trail of string, I mean hay, to where the cats hid him!
-Your Favortie Daughter!
X-tremely nice, x-pressive post!
I love Christmas ornaments. How fun to see yours.
X-tremely awesome quilted ornaments!
I have that same book with the Christmas ornaments -- now that I see how cute yours turned out, I think I'll try making some.
Love, love, love the tree, and the history -- such a family treasure!
I see the new toys under the tree!
I thought it was the sheep that the cats liked to carry off...
The tree is beyond stunning. Like BEYOND stunning. So stunning in fact, that any of the X- words I could come up with (x-treme, x-traordinary, x-eedingly) don't even begin to describe it.
I love the quilted ornaments too!
How do you bigify your photos? I need to get with that program.
Love your tree! You're so with it already! I'm still in denial that it's December 1st. Or... wait a minute... it might be December 2nd.
