I was shocked beyond belief last night to find crocus and hyacinth buds where the snow had melted!!! (First April in the new house, so didn't know what all was buried out there!) We have a small bush of the yellow stuff you show here, too, but somebunny trampled it...
This is a "forsythis spring" in the midwest. The bright yellow is everywhere! I love it!
Your forsythias are blooming! I have not seen anything blooming in my little neck of the woods - am ready for something!
I am thinking my comment from Friday was lost to the cyber abyss... I will try again.
Forsythia is one of my favorite spring flowers. I just hate it when people try to trim it into submission, though. I love it at its unruliest!
