I have a real holiday cactus. She blooms whenever she wants...and she wants to bloom now! She also needs dusting....
Not all my iris are hybridized, fancy pants types. I have some wild iris, too.
And here is the Baby Surprise Jacket. What progress! Especially since it's first photo, like it's half grown, and it's the first anyone has seen of it!
Now I am scooting out of here to visit My Sister Knits. Opening early and 75% off clearance.
Later Wonderful Guy and I are hiking. This is where we went yesterday, the Pawnee Buttes. Weather moved in, and we moved out!

waaaaaaaaaa! Yes, that's the sound of me crying as you head out to my all-time-favorite knitting shop: My Sister Knits. Ask Julie if she remembers me. I bet she does. I love that shop! I might just stop in while we are in the Fort.
Pawnee Buttes is no place to be when weather moves in! Not after your near tornado the other day! yikes.
The bear family of Myrtle and the Fantastic Five visited this a.m. This time they stayed around for awhile as the cubbies climbed trees and played. They are still pretty tiny!
I have a cactus blooming now too. One I brought back from Mom's house last year. It's not your "normal" flower. I have tried to get photos of it but it refuses to allow me to get a proper image of it. It's red and single star-shaped.
I forgot to tell you-- while reading your last blog I almost cried (the one before this). What a touching story! Tell that Wonderful Guy "Hi!" from me and I'm so glad he's in your life. Tish
What great hiking spots you have! I will have to start bringing my camera when I go. Love the Baby Surprise Jacket. That shade of purple is gorgeous!!
