...almost. I have a second iris blooming. Another smallish one, called Tarheel Elf, that was transfered last fall. Apparently he didn't mind so much.
Hand for scale. He's about 8"tall-ish.
I have color showing on another shorty, and on a tall bearded. I also have good bud stalks on another tall bearded. (Hot Dogs and Mustard, Dearest Sister!)
There is a stamping party I am to go to with Youngest Daughter tonight. Three nights in a row of doing stuff. I will be glad to stay close to home tomorrow.
On the knitting front, I completed the Alison's Scarf Tuesday at knit night. I will block it and pix will soon follow. The i-cord cast on and cast off made for a new and fun finished look to the piece. I like the look of it, and am pleased for the mad skilz learned, but probably won't knit another. Next to cast on will be the Baby Surprise Jacket, by Elizabeth Zimmerman. Knitting/fiber pix tomorrow.

Your garden photos are great. The colors are so refreshing after our long winter. I will post more of mine soon.
I have a few iris in my yard, but not many. I "inherited" them along with the house. I have the short kind and one that looks like a dwarf (it's teeny). They will probably turn into my "I". :)
You are inspiring me to get some tall bearded ones! When is the best time to plant them? Fall?
