What Do I Have...

...For today?

Gratuitous grandbebe pix.  I had them on Saturday, and wouldn't let a chance go by without showing that

Grandbebe Two is keeping her blue eyes! These are her mothers.

Grandbebe Girl has beautiful hazel eyes. They are her fathers.  We should be able to tell them apart.

We had ample opportunity to be creative.

Then we went to find pumpkins.  Unfortunately, it is a sad year for pumpkins.

Wonderful Guy and I ended up at the grocery store for ours.

And look at it now.

In fact, this is our back yard.  About 4PM on Wednesday.  It's been snowing since.  And is suppose to continue for the next several hours.  Like until 6 Thursday evening! I wonder if I will be going to work Thursday morning?

Check out the contest here and Dearest Sisters here.  We will announce winners and other things November 1st!

I saw yesterday that you were getting snow in a big way! Kind of early, even for CO, don't you think? I remember the weather is always lousy for Halloween, but this is ridiculous! :)

Sweet, sweet grandbebes!

Lynne-this is the 2nd snow we have had. First one was atypical with terrible cold temps. This is more heavy wet stuff, but very deep. By Halloween I think most will be gone. Mid 40's on Saturday. I hope.

Hi, Iron;
I stopped by to see if you were buried in snow... glad to hear it will melt in time for a few tricks and treats.

PS: Darling photos. :)

I am enjoying a snow day at home, Kate. Office is closed! Means no comp for me, but hey! Day at home! Pretty much buried for the day, but it won't last, and it's good moisture.

All that snow sure is beautiful to us folks who never get any (SF CA). I can only remember about 3 or 4 times in my 50+ years that we've gotten a few seconds of snowfall.

Such cute photos of the little girls. Our Halloweens costumes usually involve umbrellas here in Seattle -- but a giant snow storm? Colorado weather is crazy!

Such lovely girls!
I can't believe the snow in CO!!! All we have is some miserable rain--We've had an unusual amount of rain this year- but the brilliance of the leaves is spectacular! V.

I was thinking about your snow day, today, and feeling very jealous! What a treat to have an unexpected day at home! But then I looked at weather dot com and it said your temp was "30- feels like 15". Nevermind.

An update for all that are not familiar with Colorado weather, and might fear I am snowed in for the season. Melting has started, and Halloween temps are forecast to be low 60's. We will have sunny skies tomorrow. See! All short lived with a day off. Best of all possible worlds!
And Jan? My house, where I was all day, wasn't that cold!

...to my humble effort. Thanks for taking the time to stop by, and I hope you find something mildly interesting, slightly amusing, barely creative, or at the very least, not too terribly trite.
